With macOS Sierra it has the option to auto delete all the duplicate downloads and upload your desktop and documents to iCloud.

Also after installing an app it can automatically delete the dmg file.

I did find the app slimming feature useful when I had a small SSD, and the uninstaller is handy - but these are both things you can get free tools for.

I think the cleaning is largely psychological and I dont think it ever made anything run faster.

Its been great, but yeah I agree with others saying its not necessary.

Has a lot of extra features that the other cleaners dont have (to my knowledge) i.e the reset app feature which resets the app to a like new state which comes in handy from time to time.

Despite what others have said, I havent had any system issues with Clean my mac but then again thats just my experience opinion.

But I can recommend to try old and well known for many mac users OnyX ( ) to clean caches and etc, and Disk Inventory X ( ) to find large files on your disks.

Heres the thing, if you have more than 120gb on your Mac it really isnt going to be doing much.

It has a very attractive design and does what is promised in the sense that you do have something like five gigs Freed up from it but I dont really feel like its necessary or that helpful.
